It's been another while again. Things have been alright, here and there. Mostly scattered-brain, though. Had to cool off on some things, but they should be a lot better this time around.

It's been a while, and I had to take some time to think about stuff, but I'm still here.
I'm sorry, Joon.
It's been difficult to keep up in here, there's a lot of competition and very talented people, but I think my mistake is that instead of trying to see it as a learning experience, I was looking at it as an obstacle. There's always someone better, but there's always someone who can use a bit of help. I will try to be that helpful person more often.

Yeah, original hair is back, haha... although being a blonde was fun.
Took some time off to go skiing with the family after New Year's, but now I'm back. My holidays were great, spent Christmas with Joonyong, but training's just getting harder now that it's a new year. So many new people, too! I haven't been around to actually meet some of you, but if you see me in the hallway or in the music room, don't hesitate to talk to me, especially if you're new!
Snow is damn awesome!

A bit of an update around here! I haven't been doing too much, and in a way I have a lot going on.
I've been trying to keep up with classes and practice, and after-hours practice, too... but sometimes I'd wonder why I was putting myself through all of it. Then I remember what an opportunity I've been given, and how lucky I am to have the support of my family and friends... where some people around here don't have that at all. I can't imagine how difficult it might be to pursue a dream all on your own, with hardly anyone to stand by you or even accept what you want to do with your life.
But now onto another topic... let me just say... if you see me around the hallways with a beanie, it's because I have your eyesight health in mind! Well, sorta. Joonyong helped me dye my hair recently....but we took a completely wrong turn and instead of black.. we did a 180 and went for blinding blonde. It doesn't look bad, though, after I looked at myself a couple times in the mirror. I can make it work, I'm amazing like that. So here it is for your eyeballsorepleasure.

| End of the first week! |

Ah, wow. One week already and it's been great so far at SMA!
I've noticed a lot of fellow trainees come from a lot of different places, so that's been interesting. Here's a picture of the trip I've been talking about to some of you. It was intense. I've never felt heat literally come up from the ground and melt a body until I went to Egypt. The camel ride made up for it, though! Although I wish animals were left to themselves instead of being trained/in captivity.
